Woman injured in Hartford shooting – Hartford Courant



A woman was injured in a shooting Saturday night in Hartford, according to police.

Officers responded to Blue Hills Avenue near the intersection of Holcomb Street at 8:26 p.m. and found a woman in her 50′s suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Hartford Police Department.

The woman was alert and conscious and was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

She was not believed to be the intended target of the shooting, police said.

The investigation was ongoing as of Sunday morning and no further information was immediately available.
