Jess decided to freeze her eggs after her mum Carol and late nanny Pat both went into early menopause at the age of 41.
Speaking to Grazia about the process, Jess said she wanted to take precautions so she’d be able to have a baby if it did.
“I knew it was a symptom so I was really, really panicking myself and spiralling into this ditch of ‘I’m going through menopause, or I’m going to start’.
“And then I was worrying if we’re going to be able to have children.”
Jess’ egg-freezing journey was documented on ITVBe reality show Jess Wright: The Wedding, which also showed her and William preparing for their special day.
Jess and William said ‘I do’ last year in a stunning Majorcan ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family.
After postponing the wedding multiple times, Jess and her businessman beau went all out for their nuptials with the bride changing into three different gowns.
They also had 12 bridesmaids and a banquet reception at a Spanish castle.
Jess’ brother Mark Wright was master of ceremonies while his wife Michelle Keegan, was one of the bridesmaids alongside Jess’s younger sister Natalya, and her two other sisters-in-law: Hollie Kane Wright (the wife of Jess’s professional footballer brother, Josh) and the groom’s sister Holly Lee-Kemp.
Jess first shot to fame on reality show TOWIE alongside her younger brother Mark when they joined the cast in 2010.
She starred for six years before deciding to leave.
Since then she’s released music, worked on her own clothing lines and starred in other reality shows, including Celebrity First Dates.
