A Scots gran who auditioned on Britain’s Got Talent got more than she bargained for as judge David Walliams joined her on stage and danced topless.
Joy Weir who is from Whitburn, told the judges she stayed not far from Susan Boyle, and that she travelled to audition with her two granddaughters.
She said: “Hello my name is Joy Weir and I’m from a town called Whitburn, West Lothian and in fact I’m about two miles from where Susan Boyle stays.
Joy told the judges that she was there with her two granddaughters but she actually has 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Alisha Dixon asked Joy what made her audition for the show and Joy said it was her grandkids idea.
She said: “It was my grandkids, so I’ve got to do it for them haven’t I?”
Joy then took centre stage and when the 77-year-old’s music began to play, the tune was Beauty and The Beast’s A Tale As Old As Time, but then it quickly changed to Scooter’s The Logical Song, before then changing to Scots classic Bits N Pieces.
The OAP was well and truly ‘geeing it laldy’ and the judges were loving it so much that David Walliams got up off his seat to join her.
The crowd went crazy and got up on their feet and Ant and Dec even danced with glow sticks back stage.
David was enjoying himself so much that he proceeded to take his top off to which Simon Cowell pressed his buzzer.
However, he was outnumbered and Joy made it through to the next round.
