However, a body language expert believes the Duke of Sussex seems to be “very much enjoying” his return to the spotlight as he was filmed by camera crews for an upcoming Netflix show.
The 37-year-old royal and wife Meghan were both followed by camera crews for the Duke’s upcoming documentary series Heart of Invictus, about the Invictus Games.
Both Harry and Meghan are set to return to the UK to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee which will be their first royal appearance in over two years since stepping down as senior royals.
Their upcoming visit will allow the Queen to meet her great-granddaughter Lilibet for the first time, as her first birthday falls on June 4, writes the Mirror.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, expert Judi James described Harry as being like a “duck” to “water” when it comes to performing for the cameras.
She said: “Considering they’ve had a child and they’ve had lockdown and everything, they seem to have come out not much different.
“He has moments of nervousness, but as a performer in front of the Netflix cameras the words duck and water come to mind. And Meghan is just good anyway.
“But he seems to be very much enjoying the high profile and the cameras.”
The Queen is said to be “very excited” to welcome Harry and Meghan to Windsor Castle next week as the entire royal family gather for her Jubilee celebrations.
They will stay at Frogmore Cottage in the castle grounds, where they used to live before stepping down as royals.
Children Archie, now three, and 11-month-old Lilibet – who was born in lockdown – will also be in tow.
While Harry and Meghan are expected to take part in many of the events over the Jubilee weekend, they will not appear on the balcony.
The palace has announced this will be for working members of the royal family only.
But there have been suggestions the pair could be in the VIP section to watch Thursday’s ‘Trooping the Colour: The Queen’s Birthday Parade’ at Horse Guard’s Parade.
It is likely the Sussexes will also spend time privately with other members of the royal family – including Prince Charles – who is yet to meet granddaughter, Lilibet.
It will also be the first time the Prince of Wales has seen grandson Archie since he was a baby.
