A Hartford man who had suffered from gunshot wounds died Friday and a second man believed to be in his 50s was being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Sigourney Street just after 11:30 a.m. after receiving a report of shots fired and found a victim unresponsive on scene; he was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police identified the homicide victim as Michael E. Foley, 25, of Plainfield Street.
Police said a second victim, a male in his 50s, arrived “at an area hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.”
