Fire Crews Mobilize After Wildfire Breaks Out in Southwestern Spain

Fire crews were deployed to battle a wildfire that broke out in the province of Sevilla, near the town of Guillena, Spain, on Tuesday, August 23, fire services said. The Forest Fire Extinction Service of Andalucia, known as INFOCA, said 35 forest firefighters and one fire engine had been deployed to tackle the blaze. INFOCA said the fire has originated in an area known as “Cucadero”. Aerial footage released by INFOCA shows smoke rising, while another clip shows firefighters battling the wildfire.
