Did people in prehistoric Connecticut hunt mastodons? Discoveries in Avon, Farmington hint at Ice Age scene

The revelation that humans and mega-animals likely overlapped is part of the continuing work at a 12,500-year-old camp by the Farmington River. Discovered early in 2019 during reconstruction of the Old Farms Road Bridge near Route 10, the site is the focus of a five-part series of free presentations.
