Police have arrested a suspect in relation to a shooting that happened in the community of Radisson Heights earlier this month.
The incident took place around 10:30 on Aug. 11, when police were called to the 2500 block of 15 Ave. S.E. for reports of shots fired.
According to police, witnesses and the complainant said after an argument between two men, one of the men left and returned in a truck. The suspect then drove by, shooting into the home from both the front and back, according to police.
No injuries were reported in the shooting.
The suspect was arrested on Aug. 17 by Cochrane RCMP. In a release, Calgary police said the man is also a suspect in a drive-by shooting that took place in Morley.
Malik Holloway, 24, of Calgary has been charged with one count each of careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, four counts of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, two counts of failure to comply and one count of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
He remains in police custody.
