Another Heat Advisory Inland On Sunday

We’ll have to get through one more hot and muggy day before we can talk about some relief. A HEAT ADVISORY will be in effect for most of the state today. Temperatures will surge into the low to mid 80s at the the shoreline to low to mid 90s inland. Couple the heat with the humidity, and it’ll feel between 92° to 100°. Morning sunshine will give way to a mix of sun and clouds. There could be a stray shower or two around midday into the early afternoon, but the best chance of seeing showers/storms will be after 7 PM as a cold front crosses the region. Behind that front, it’ll be cooler and more comfortable tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 70s.

Today: Sun and clouds with a stray shower possible around midday, then a better chance of scattered showers/storms after 7 PM. Highs in the mid 80s to mid 90, heat index between 92° to 100°.

Tonight: Showers/storms early, then decreasing clouds. Lows in the mid 50s.

Monday: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low to mid 70s.
